I am 23 years old and I was born and raised in Oakdale MN. I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a Major in Communication Studies. In college I was involved in Alpha Sigma Alpha and also worked for the university in our Student Affairs Department. I currently am employed at Regency Beauty institute full time as a Financial Aid Counselor. I became interested in the Rice Street Festival when I held another title for a neighboring city.

I had so much fun to watching the festival grow through out the years and to finally become a candidate in 2011. I am very honored to represent the people of the North End of St. Paul as the Festival Queen and have created memories to last a life time! Johannah Comee -

Being born and raised in Buffalo Minnesota, I have been able to bring a small town feel, on this big city adventure.

I'm 20 years old, and currently attend the college of St.Scholastica, majoring in journalism, with and emphasis in broadcasting and a minor in English. When I'm not busy at school, you can find me working as a production assistant for Good Morning Northland at the WDIO news station in Duluth. Or working on my own news cast, the Serge, at the college of St.Scholastica. I enjoy spending time outside on the lake with my dog, Dusty. And curling up on the couch to watch a movie with my kitten, Bangal. I love scrapbooking with my five older sisters, playing sports with my brother and being the "fun auntie" to my 9 nieces and nephews. But my favorite past time, is being a princess. It's a tough job, but hey someone had to do it!

This experience has taught me that life isn't measured by how many breaths you take, but rather how many moments take your breath away. My adventure as a Rice Street Festival princess has been filled with breath taking moments, unforgettable friends and the honor of being able to represent the North end business association as the 2011-2012 Rice Street Festival Princess and Miss congeniality.

Becky Photo Becky Gallagher -

Currently attending The Art Institutes International Minnesota in Minneapolis where she is studying Interior Design. Becky has been employed at TCF Bank for 3 years and also teaches colorguard to high school marching band students. Becky is 23 years old, currently lives in St. Paul but is from New Brighton. Becky graduated from Irondale High School and was very active in marching band.

Becky was a New Brighton Princess for 2006-2007 and loved it so much she ran for Miss Rice Street. She loves representing the Rice Street Festival and would like to thank Mama’s Pizza for sponsoring her. Becky would also like to thank the Rice Street Festival Committee for all they do for us!
